There may be some projects where special pricing is necessary, but overall, expect all of my rates to be calculated in USD currency. Secondly, as a startup business, all of my rates have been lowered by over 50% for all of my edits. Editorial Assessment: $0.005/word

Provides a broad overview of your manuscript, giving insight into how your story is progressing. Highlights strengths and weaknesses in plot, character development, and pacing. Ideal for authors seeking general feedback before diving into deeper revisions.

Developmental Edit: $0.01/word

Includes an editorial letter (average 15–20 pages per 100k words) that analyzes the story chapter by chapter, focusing on story mechanics such as plot, setting, character, and structure, tailored to your genre, age range, and publishing goals. Zoom support is included to discuss notes and revision plans.
Two read-throughs included. A third read-through can be purchased for 25% of the original cost.

Line Edit: $0.015/word

Uses Track Changes to refine sentences for flow, consistency, and readability while addressing filler and repetitive language. Includes a style sheet for reference. Line editing (also called stylistic editing) focuses on the content and flow of your prose rather than grammar mechanics.
An additional read-through to check revisions can be purchased for 25% of the original cost.

Copy Editing: $0.008/word

Uses Track Changes to correct grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors. Includes a style sheet for reference to maintain consistency throughout your manuscript.

Proofreading: $0.003/word per pass

The final stage of editing, ensuring no spelling, grammar, or punctuation errors remain. Can be done for both digital and hard copy manuscripts (provided at the author’s expense). Includes creating a style sheet if one does not already exist.
